Gallier House
In 1857, esteemed New Orleans architect, James Gallier, Jr. put his talent to work designing a residence of his own. Gallier House is a historic restoration of one of New Orleans’ loveliest and timehonored landmarks. Known for its detailed interpretation, Gallier House offers a number of specialty tours and living history demonstrations throughout the year. December finds the townhouse decorated in its holiday finery, with a period tree. June through August the house dons its traditional Summer Dress.
