USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Park | Pearl Harbor Submarine
Explore the history of the Silent Service aboard the USS Bowfin Submarine, the “Pearl Harbor Avenger.”
Launched on 7 December 1942, she sank 44 enemy ships during her nine patrols. U.S. Subs accounted for 55% of the enemy ships sunk during World War II, amazing, considering they comprised only 2% of U.S. Navy at the time.
After boarding the submarine, visit the USS Bowfin's world class submarine museum and reflect at the waterfront memorial that tells the stories of the 52 WWII submarines lost.
The USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Park offers many outdoor exhibits and a large covered lanai.
