Special Instructions: Conditions in the crater and along the hike are dry and hot; therefore, sunscreen is recommended. This hike may not be suitable for the elderly or those with walking or disability limitations, or for children under 5 years of age (use a carrier). A good pair of jogging/hiking shoes is recommended. Rubber slippers (flip flops), high heels or dress clothes are not recommended.
