The Erie Canal Discovery Center is an award-winning interpretive center for the history of the Erie Canal and especially the Flight of Five locks in Lockport.
The Erie Canal Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art facility that includes the 20” foot tall Raphael Beck mural, “The Opening of the Erie Canal, and many other hands-on exhibits, including Work the Lock, Hard Rock Canal, Canal Kids, and many more.
A twenty minute sight and sound experience offers a virtual “ride” on the Erie Canal.
