Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island (or Circle Line Cruises)
Statue Cruises, an authorized National Park Service concessioner, takes you to New York‘s most famous icons – the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. One ticket is good for both islands! Your CityPass grants you priority entry to the security check-in.
The Statue of Liberty was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty stands as tall as a 22-story building!
The Ellis Island Immigration Station processed over 12 million immigrant steamship passengers while in operation until 1954. The main building was restored after 30 years of abandonment and opened as a museum in 1990. Today, over 40 percent of America's population can trace their ancestry through Ellis Island.
INSIDER TIPS: Expect to pass though airport level security prior to boarding the ferry. For more information about the security regulations at Liberty Island and in the Statue of Liberty please see security screening details on Statue Cruises' Web site. You may bring a picnic lunch to either Island, although large coolers are not allowed past security and no food or beverages are allowed IN the Statue.
CITYPASS INCLUDES: (Please Note that you may choose either the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Statue Cruise or a Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise which are listed separately, but cannot do both with your CityPass) Ticket valid for one ferry ride to and from Battery Park in NY or Liberty Park in NJ, with stops at Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Enjoy leisure time on each island, plus Ellis Island Immigration Museum admission. CityPASS does not include Crown Tickets or Pedestal/Museum Access Pass

Avoid longer wait times by arriving at Battery Park before 11 a.m. or after 2 p.m. or boarding from Liberty State Park, in New Jersey. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are protected national treasures. It is necessary to clear a security checkpoint – with airport-level security – prior to boarding the boat.
