Las Vegas Natural History Museum
Animated exhibits, live animals and rare animal mounts bring natural history alive to visitors of all ages.
The Las Vegas Natural History Museum features an animated dinosaur exhibit (which includes a 35- foot Tyrannosaurus rex), a 3000-gallon tank with live sharks, a Nevada Room filled with plant and wildlife native to Southwest desert, an African Room featuring savannah and rainforest displays, a Young Scientists Center where kids can interact with the displays, and an international Wildlife Room with more than 26 species of mounted animals, including a 16-foot giraffe.
