The Southern Nevada Museum Of Fine Art was founded in 2003 and is a privately funded, non-profit organization. The museum moved to its current location in Neonopolis in 2008.
The Southern Nevada Museum Of Fine Art presently features over 7000 square feet of exhibit area, with one main gallery, a special exhibitions gallery, and a small works gallery. Future plans include expansion into adjacent space for a second exhibition gallery dedicated to large works including Sculpture.
