Pearl Harbor, Arizona Memorial & Honolulu City Tour from Waikiki
On December 7, 1941, Hawaii was suddenly thrust onto the world stage as the Japanese attacked the US Pacific Fleet, taking 2,390 lives, most of them aboard the USS Arizona. The Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor was constructed to honor the lives taken on that tragic day. Each year millions of visitors are awestruck by the memorial which spans the sunken USS Arizona. To this day the USS Arizona still continues to discharge oil to the surface of the water - a somber reminder of the sacrifices made over 60 years ago. The Pearl Harbor, Arizona Memorial, and Honolulu City Tour starts in Waikiki, visits the memorials and continues with a narrated ride through the National Cemetery of the Pacific and downtown Honolulu, including Iolani Palace and King Kamehameha statue.
